Be Slow To Anger

Daily Grind- Be Slow to Anger 11/29/2011
Today I challenge you to be slow to anger. This is a process that can only be accomplished with practice. Remember anger is one letter away from danger. We have to always be in control of our mindset. If we allow someone to derail our thoughts to anger we are essentially allowing them to control us. Take the higher road, listen for understanding instead of blowing a gasket at the start of go. Your life depends on this. When we invite anger into our mind and bodies it has a negative effect on our health.  Our brains inform our bodies to release negative energy. We must combat this by developing a process to control our anger. Let’s be slow to anger in our progress to Be Great!
James 1:19, 20
19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
