Daily Grind-
Be An Example! 1/2/2012
As we
embrace the fun and excitement of the New Year, keep in mind that we have tons
of work to do. It is time for us to roll up our sleeves and get to work on our
children. Not only are they in the ICU, they are on life support. By having
access to so many media outlets, our young people are losing the fundamental
values that molded us when we were kids. How long can we sit back and do nothing?
I challenge you today to realize the importance of being a great example for
our children. They are lost and don’t care if they are found. It is our job to
redirect our youth by getting involved in their lives. The only way to
understand them is to get to know them. We have distanced ourselves too far
from our young people and because of that, they are suffering. When they reveal
an “I don’t care” attitude to us, it is because they are showing a reflection
of what we have given them. It is time to get busy. We must spend time with our
children. Volunteer for a youth group, mentor a child or simply be a positive example
in the presence of young people. Teach them to do what’s right and Be Great!

isn’t another way to teach, it is the only way to teach”
