Grind- The Silent Treatment! 2/22/2012
We
all face situations in relationships where we are at a loss of words. Sometimes
we are so disturbed by these instances that it rocks us to the core. Conversely,
there are instances when we attempt to control others, out of anger, by eliminating
communication with them. I challenge you today to move past the silence by
expressing your feelings. When we give someone the silent treatment, we are creating
a wedge between us and the person whom we feel offended us. To have successful,
healthy relationships, we are obligated to convey our thoughts of hurt and disappointment
by being transparent. When we work through the misunderstanding, we tear down the
walls of confusion. Remember that conversation rules the nation and when we talk
through our problems, it allows us to Be Great!

Bush, Jr. (The Bushinator)
How often could things be remedied by a
word. How often is it left unspoken. ~Norman Douglas
