In order for us to reach our goals in life, we need assistance. We should be reminded that the relationships we establish should provide the resources that we desire. I challenge you today to remember that it’s not always what you know, but sometimes it’s who you know. Now is the time for us to start building positive relationships by learning from others and offering our best to them. The opportunities we encounter based on the alliances we develop can be amazing. As individuals, we are good; but with a little help from our fellow man, we can be GREAT!  Open your minds and broaden your horizons to new relationships. Even a millionaire needs a neighbor!  Build great relationships and Be Great!

There are times when it feels like we’re walking in quick sand. When we attempt to make progress, it feels as if something is dragging us down. I challenge you today to get out of the rut by changing your mindset. We can change our environment, but if we keep the same mindset we will get the same results. Many of us feel that if we continue with the status quo, things will remain the same. That’s simply not the truth. It is critical to remember that we serve a LIVING and MOVING GOD! In order for us to reach a new level, we must have the courage to try new things. Stop settling for what has been the “norm” and burst into a new dimension. Get out the rut and Be Great!

It is fundamental that we think of the possible outcome before we act.  Otherwise, we find ourselves with consequences that we are not ready for or are not in a position to pay. Isn’t it amazing how certain situations in our lives remind us of being in a race? With every challenge or obstacle we conquer, we celebrate in victory as we cross the finish line. However, before we break the racing tape, we have to make it down the home stretch. This is when your chest begins to burn, your legs feels like jello, and the enemy creeps into your mind, causing you to think you just can’t do it. I challenge you today to keep your eyes on the prize, knowing that the harder life’s challenges become, the closer you are to reaching your goals. Regardless of what is going on around us, our faith should provide us with tunnel vision to see that our target is within reach. Whenever something happens in our lives and the results are not favorable, we often search for someone or something to blame. We begin an intense investigation on finding the cause of our failure. I challenge you today to stop looking for someone to blame and start looking in the mirror for solutions. Regardless of what has happened in our lives, we are responsible for our individual selves. It is up to us to regroup from our disappointments by focusing on our future and forgetting the past. We cannot move forward by concentrating on the causes of failure. We must accept what happened, learn from the mistake and press forward to our destiny. Stop looking for someone to blame, release the past, and Be Great!

Through our journey in life, there will be times when our resources are not sufficient and we feel we just don’t have enough to go on. Wherever we look, doors have closed and the walls appear to be tumbling down. It is during the moments when we are pushed to the end of the ledge, that we have to completely trust in Our Heavenly Father. I challenge you today to recognize when your faith is being tested, for it is in our broken state that God produces our BLESSINGS! Isn’t it amazing that while we are in the middle of the test, the Teacher doesn’t answer any questions? However, our God is FAITHFUL and offers us the promises of his word as an open book to ensure our success.  It is up to us remain focused in and on his word. We know that his word is the truth and it will never return to us void.  So I encourage you to BE STRONG IN YOUR TEST, LEAN ON HIS WORD, RECEIVE YOUR BLESSINGS AND BE GREAT!

Many of us abandon our dreams because the work to achieve them is too hard, although no one ever promised us that the journey would be easy. There are going to be moments when we feel that we have tried enough, leaving us the feeling of being burnt out. As we grow older this competition intensifies, as the pressure to be the best often brings us out of our character to show that we belong. I challenge you today to see yourself as your greatest competition. As we prepare for the race of life, the best way to seek out our opponents is to look in the mirror. Every day we should be on a quest to defeat and conquer the demons that prevent us from being our best. This is a new day and it is filled with new and endless opportunities.
