Grind – Who Are You Competing With? 4/13/2012
At a very small age we are taught the art of
competing. We begin to compare our material possessions with others to see
where we measure up. As we grow older this competition intensifies, as the
pressure to be the best often brings us out of our character to show that we
belong. I challenge you today to see yourself as your greatest competition. As
we prepare for the race of life, the best way to seek out our opponents is to
look in the mirror. Every day we should be on a quest to defeat and conquer the
demons that prevent us from being our best. It is our obligation to master and
control our mindset against doubt, inadequacy, fear, and loneliness. Once we
overcome our personal insecurities, we can stand on the podium with our hands held
high, knowing that we have the victory. Understand your personal competition
and Be Great!

the fresh air, the feeling that the only person I'm competing with is me.”
