Daily Grind – Putting Things In Perspective! 5/23/2013
As we open our eyes on this new day, we should be grateful for
another opportunity we have to get better. While it’s true that we might not
have everything we want or be in the position we truly desire, we still have
breath in our bodies. We must be reminded, especially after this week’s
tragedy, that there are many people who are not as fortunate as we are. They
don’t have another chance to start fresh. I challenge you today to put things
in perspective by focusing on what really matters. My father used to always say
that “the man with no shoes complained until he saw the man with no feet!” The house you live in may not be a mansion but
you are not living under a bridge. Putting things in perspective give us the
opportunity to be thankful for all we have. It is time to let go of pettiness
and complaining and center our thoughts on being grateful. When we know better,
we are obligated to do better. Be Great!
