Daily Grind – Learn To Listen! 6/5/2013
Throughout this day, we should look within ourselves and develop
the patience to focus on the words of others. We have the power to create
positive relationships by truly absorbing and understanding what is being
communicated to us. I challenge you today to learn to listen by giving the gift
of your undivided attention. When we are engaged in conversation, let’s take
the time to actively listen rather than pre-plan our rebuttal to get our point
across. Once we show respect by listening, we are due that same consideration
when it’s our time to talk. For us to build a bridge to overcome
misunderstandings and poor communication, we are obligated to learn to listen
and show others the foundation to happiness and the structure to Be Great!
