The good news is that this is a new day with new opportunities; filled with new blessings and new grace. The great news is that whatever mistakes and short comings that we have encountered in our past, we can start fresh by letting go of the old and looking forward to the new. I challenge you today to forget those things that are behind you and press toward what is before you. For us to reach our full potential, it is imperative that we DON’T LOOK BACK! Many of us are restricted from the blessings that our Heavenly Father has for us because we are comfortable in the chaos. We use excuse after excuse to remain in our present situations. But not today! At this moment, we release the chains of our past and we accept and declare our bright and extraordinary future. Be Great!

We are obligated to take proactive steps to ensure that everything that is in our care is safe and secure. We should be delighted to know that this is how Our Heavenly Father feels about us. I challenge you today to be enthusiastic about your life, knowing that you are protected with full coverage. Our Heavenly Father gave us the best insurance policy in the world with his promise to never leave nor forsake us. So the question of the day is why do we continue to allow ourselves to fall into the trap of the enemy? When we think we’re all alone and we can’t make it by ourselves, stand BOLD and be reminded of this magnificent full coverage. So, live your life to the fullest without any reservations. At 12:00am this morning, we started a new day. Whatever happened yesterday is gone and we can’t do anything about it. It is important that we shed parts of our old selves and move forward. With this fresh opportunity, let’s center our thoughts on living life to the fullest. I challenge you today to be reminded of the promise by our Heavenly Father that old things are passed away and we are made new. We no longer need to live our life with regrets and what ifs because the SON has offered us the privilege to start again and make the necessary changes to fulfill our purpose.  It is critical to note that while we should not live in the past, we should remember the lessons from our trails so we don’t make the same mistakes.  When we move forward from our previous failures and heart breaks, we open the doors for a much brighter future.  So let go of the past, look to your destiny and Be Great!

Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is!

Daily Grind – Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is! 7/15/2013

In light of the recent court proceedings, we are all left angry, shocked and saddened.  However, in order to seek transformation in this world, we should look no further than the mirror because we are the voice of change! From this point forward, we owe it to ourselves, our loved ones and our community to be a catalyst to do better. I challenge you today to put your money where your mouth is and get involved. We need to be more accountable to ourselves and everyone around us. It’s not enough to just sit on the sidelines talking about how bad things are. Instead, we must take action by joining a local assembly, volunteering our time to help shape and mold the lives of our youth, or donating funds to an effective nonprofit organization. Not matter what we choose, it is vital that we wake up and do something. Allow this pain and frustration to be the facilitator for change. Keep in mind that we all have an opinion but the ones that truly matter are the ones that are followed by action. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Let’s put our EMOTIONS in MOTION to make a change and be Great.
